Hair Restoration
Moving Hair Around
The Alternative
to Baldness !

Note: How the restored hair line
looks totally natural.
Male hair loss is a "progressive disorder" which causes
hair to thin
gradually across the front, crown and temples. For some the hairline recedes above
the temples or becomes completely bald across the top but not through the lower sides
and across the back of the head. Because this hair is not effected by the
genetic hormonal changes that cause hair loss it can be used to replace the hair
lost through the front and crown.
Hair Restoration (once
called Hair Transplants) has come along way from the early
days. Especially when preformed by a "cosmetic hair
restoration artist" like Dr. Michele Elliott, a pioneer of
today's micro-hair restoration.
What is a
"micro-hair restoration?
Unlike the early day's of using large plugs of hair to
cover hair loss___ A micro-graft procedure is performed by using "one hair strand at a
time" for a natural looking hairline (see above) and several bundles
of (two-three-four hairs) to
fill-in large thinning area's. Depending on the degree of hair
loss, the procedure can take up to eight hours, is totally
painless and can costs from $5
to $10 per graft. A hair restoration using
1500 grafts, for example, which
is about average, is approximately $7,500.
Who should have this done ?
Ok, it all depends on how much it matters to
you__ if your comfortable and you don't mind the look, it doesn't really matter. After
all, "man does not live by hair alone".
There are far worse things that can happen to you then hair
loss.
However, as a hair
stylist it did matter
to me personally. And as a stylist, I can tell you most people
look better with a full head of hair. Having had this done myself by
Dr. Elliott, I can also tell you first hand that his procedure
was painless, the results are totally natural looking
and believe me, nothing short of amazing. I look at
it this way, if your teeth were bad, won't you fix them, why
not your hair?
