Take a friend along for giggles and their option. You'll have fun and may be surprised to find how a totally different hair color may complement your complexion and eye color. How a cute short style looks around your face. If you find one you love, but its something your can type could never do well, buy it and have a stylist "cut and shape" it to fit your face. 

 

Many of the hair styles you see on "movie stars and celebrity's"  are "custom shaped wigs". It's the best way I know to give yourself a totally different look for formal or special event _ think of it as your "hair hat".
